Settlement Currency

• Setting up settlement currency

The settlement currency is the currency in which your funds will be deposited into your business or individual bank account — this is established when setting up the event’s payment account. 

Your choice of payout currency depends on the country origin of your payout account. For example, if your event is occurring in Canada but you want to be paid in USD, then you need a USD account.

• The settlement currency is based on the currency of your payout country

• All the manage event dashboard will be in your settlement currency

Setting up settlement currency

1. Create an event draft

2. In your Event Manager section, click Payments tab

3. Select + Add payment account

4. Complete the Payment Account form
   Note: Toggle the appropriate Account Type when setting up your account: Individual or Company

5. Click Submit
   Note: You should see the payment account as Pending. It will take a couple of minutes for the request to process and to be approved — refresh the page roughly after 1-2 minutes
