Postponing an event
On this page you will find:
Only Group Organizers have the ability to manage all events within groups they are part of. Only Event Organizers have the ability to manage events they have been given access to.
All attendees for both options should be contacted and informed of respective event modifications
Before postponing your event:
Review your Refund Policy
Determine if you will have a new date in place
Determine if a refund will be issued to Attendees
1. If you've decided to move your event to an unknown date in the future:
Refund all orders
Private
the eventClose all tickets to prevent any future sales
2. If you've decided to move your event to a new confirmed date in the future:
Update new confirmed date in
Event Manager
Inform all attendees of the new date. Create a custom email to efficiently address attendees
Make any necessary changes to participants or event details based on the new date
