Draft events give you and your team the flexibility to build your event page over time without having to publish it on your events page.

Only Group Organizers have the ability to manage all events within groups they are part of. Only Event Organizers have the ability to manage events they have been given access to.

In order to unpublish and turn a live event into a draft event, there must be no pending orders or in progress checkouts.

To draft an event that is not yet live, simply do not Publish it.

Drafting a live event

  1. From the Manage Event view, select the event status bar

  2. Select Unpublish to draft an event

  3. You will be prompted with a confirmation pop-up, select Confirm

  4. Once your event has been unpublished, your audience will not be able to view any of your drafted events.
